Year 8 Cambridge University Visit

On Thursday, 28 amazing Dyke House pupils were given the opportunity to spend two days in Cambridge, looking at the university and experiencing the city. Traveling to the historic university city on Thursday evening students embarked on a hugely busy two days of academic lectures, college visits, punting and cultural experiences. Year 8 met current students and lecturers, as well as having fun on the river and spending a final hour exploring the city centre.

A huge thanks to the amazing Sam Twells at Corpus Christi College for his incredibly warm welcome, as well as King’s College for their tour and the Cambridge Science Centre who provided such a fantastic morning of academic insight and activities based on groundbreaking research.

We are very excited to return to Cambridge in the future and hope to see applications from many students in the future as they progress through their school careers in the pursuit of academic excellence.
