Aspirations Programme

The Aspirations Programme exists to support and encourage academic attainment throughout the school in order to facilitate appropriate progression pathways for all students. Our vision is that every child maximises their potential. This is facilitated through our values and competencies; excellence, commitment, integrity and cooperation.

The programme provides students and parents with the information and opportunities in order to explore the routes available to them and ensures that every individual makes informed choices regarding their future. We work with students from Year 4, 5 and 6, in conjunction with our cluster primary schools as part of the iAspire Programme. Once students reach Dyke House College, the Aspirations Programme offers them a wide range of super and extra curricular activities tailored to their needs, interests and attainment. This is provided through external partners such as The Brilliant Club and a spectrum of universities and employers, in addition to our internal programmes. The Aspirations Programme provides holistic support to students;collaborating with departments to provide a coherent and consistent overview across every progression pathway. The Sixth Form at Dyke House offers students continuing with their Post 16 education further opportunities to ensure the progression to highly selective universities, higher level apprenticeships and school leaver programmes. We are committed to ensuring a personalised programme for every student to enable achievement in all their endeavours.
